Do you write short stories or articles as a hobby or maybe trying to break into the profession? Here's your chance to be noticed!! If you write short stories or articles that deal with wildlife issues- preferably the type I feature in my stores- big cats, birds, pets- or perhaps your area deals more with mythology- like dragons, griffons or ancient cultures like Ancient Egypt---then I invite you to send me your story and perhaps you'll be featured in my monthly newsletter as well as having your story posted here at my website for the entire month that it's been chosen. In addition to short stories or articles, I will also consider poetry in the same categories as above. This is a great chance for someone who wants their work to receive more exposure; here is how it will work:
- Email me your short story, poem or article with your name and copyright information you wish to have appear with your work- this can also include an email address if you wish to be contacted by those who’ve read your work.
- As soon as I receive your work, I shall email you within 24 hrs letting you know that it’s arrived.
- The last Monday of each month, I shall email the author whose story, article or poem I shall use for the following month’s newsletter.
- Then the winner’s work will appear in my emailed newsletter as well as be featured here at my website.
- Once you know your story will be placed in my newsletter and if you wish your friends/family to see it as part of my newsletter, I will email you a copy of the newsletter featuring your work and you may email it to anyone you wish, just naturally, please do not spam anyone with it.
Important Point: All work that I receive, whether I use it or not will not go beyond my desk; the author has ALL RIGHTS to their work and the winning article will only be used by me in my newsletter and at the website, nothing more.
Important Point #2: If you aren’t selected the first time you send me your work, don’t fret, I may still use it in future newsletter additions and you are always welcome to send me different material anytime you wish but please, no more than 1 story, article or poem per month.
***Birdman's Designs does NOT in any way guarantee a certain amount of exposure for your work; only the chance to be seen by a larger internet audience. This is based on how many people receive and view the monthly newsletter and check out this website.***
